The Circle of Life
Personal Health Assessment and Self-Energizing System

A Manual for Personal, Team and Community Well-being and Effectiveness
Based in a Dynamic Process of Continuous Improvement

by Rebecca McLean & Roger Jahnke, Health Action

The Circle of Life has been developed to empower individuals in their quest for greater health, vitality, productivity, purpose and joy. It is intended that all personal action steps will spring directly from the individual participant. There is no intended or implied advice contained in this book. Instead it lays out pathway to personal improvement and is a training in a personal process.

We ask that all participants and facilitators progress slowly but surely, honoring a pace for improvement that is natural and positive rather than forced or stress inducing. For those who are using this process as a healing program, we suggest that you consult with your healing team, case manager and physician regarding any goals or action steps that require significant change in diet, exercise or personal behavior that could effect the progress of your case or shift your need for medications.

This process should always be adapted to maximize the outcomes for the individual or individuals involved. And it should always be tailored to meet the needs of different types of study and support groups to honor their unique settings and situations.
